Dr. Stephen Hicks is an eminent Professor of Philosophy at Rockford University, Illinois, USA, Executive Director of the Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship, and Senior Scholar at The Atlas Society. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Guelph, Canada, before completing his Ph.D. at Indiana University. A foremost authority in ethics, political philosophy, and the history of philosophy, Dr. Hicks is celebrated for his incisive critique of postmodernism. He has authored seven influential books, including the landmark "Explaining Postmodernism," with his works translated into eighteen languages. Dr. Hicks' engaging teaching style and dedication to fostering critical thinking make his courses both intellectually rigorous and highly rewarding.
