Transcript Editor

As a Transcript Editor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and quality of transcripts associated with our online courses. Your role will involve meticulous editing of transcripts, providing constructive feedback for improvement, and collaborating with the content team to enhance the overall transcript quality. This is a part-time or full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and overall quality.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance transcript content, grammar, and structure.
  • Collaborate with course creators to improve the overall quality of course transcripts.
  • Additional responsibilities may include reviewing other platform learning resources related to reviewed transcripts, such as course examination material.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Language Proficiency: Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Grammar Proficiency: Strong command of grammar rules and language usage for precise transcript editing.
  • Research Proficiency: Skilled in online research for fact-checking and ensuring the reliability of transcript content.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous approach with a keen eye for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides.

Additional Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with transcription tools, online learning platforms, and basic multimedia editing software.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines for timely reviews and feedback.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and proposing solutions for maintaining high-quality transcripts.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt tasks and processes to work with a team and accommodate evolving technologies, methodologies, and content formats in the dynamic field of education.
