Dr. C. Bradley Thompson

Dr. C. Bradley Thompson is a distinguished scholar and educator whose work explores political philosophy, American history, liberty, and capitalism. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Western State College, his master’s from Boston College, and his Ph.D. from Brown University. He is a professor of political philosophy at Clemson University and executive director of the Snow Institute for the Study of Capitalism. He also directs the Lyceum Scholars Program, inspiring students to explore the ideas that shaped the American founding. His research examines the American Revolution, the moral foundations of liberty, and the evolution of American political thought. As an accomplished author or numerous books and founder and publisher of Loco Foco Press, he champions scholarship in moral and political philosophy and American history. Through his engaging teaching and research, Professor Thompson invites students to think critically about the enduring ideas that shape freedom, individual rights, and constitutional government.
